The Wayland Blue Ridge Association of which Nazareth Baptist Church on Route 707 is a member, has lost one of their faithful servants. Rev. Gordon Henderson, who went to be with the Lord Friday June 28. He was the past moderator of the Association.
All area residents who live on the Culpeper Country side of the line are reminded that Sheriff Lee Hart will be giving his quarterly report this evening, Wednesday at the Culpeper County Library starting at 7 p.m. The public is invited and refreshments will be served.

The Salem Ruritan Club held their annual fund raiser of the Car Show at the recently renovated Culpeper Railroad Depot on Thursday, July 4. On a yearly basis the organization gives scholarships to graduating seniors in Culpeper and Rappahannock schools, in nursing, music and general student scholarships and all scholarships are given to those students who plan to enter college.
Pastor Dan Yowell and his congregation of F.T. Baptist Church on Route 707 invite the public to their Sunday School at 10 a.m. and morning worship at 11 a.m.
