What if someone called 911
and nobody came? That’s a grim take off on the old presidential election joke, but more of a reality than most of us realize.
I have been with the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad less than a year, and I now have first hand knowledge of the urgent need for volunteers. One of my first tasks as a volunteer was to help create the large posters that have been seen around the county recruiting new members.
