The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors is soliciting bids from general contractors for “The Town of Sperryville Gateway Improvements Project." The work includes the provision of all supervision, labor, materials and bonds for the construction of the various elements of the project, including a per destrian bridge, sidewalk and pavement improvements, landscaping and seeding, and other miscellaneous site improvements. . >.
All bids must be received at the County Administrator's Office, Old Extension Office, 290 Gay Street, P.O. Box 519, Washington, VA 22747 by Fnday, July 26, 2002, by 3:00 PM., at whiqh time they will be opened and publicly read. •
A Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted Ip Sperryville at the on-site location of the planned pedestrian bridge on Monday, July 15, 2002 at 10:00 am. '
Bid documents will be available on or after Monday, May 20, 2002 at the County Administrators Office, Old Extension Office, 290 Gay Street, P.O. Box 519, Washington, Vitginia, 22747 or at the office of The Cox Corwpany, 220 East High Street, CharlottesvillA, Virginia, 22902.
