RCHS Drum Line

receives trophies

The Rappahannock County High School Drum Line has had a very successful season. They marched in the Sperryville, Flint Hill and Amissville parades and received “Best Performing Drum Line” in all three!

In Sperryville, Phil Thomas and Brian Lee played bass drums, and Brian Taylor and Josh McArthur played snare and quad drums. Banner holders were Jessica Estes and Ashley Williams.

The Flint Hill parade consisted of Phil Thomas, Brain Lee and Jonathan Bankston on bass, Brian Taylor on snare and Josh McArthur on quads. Making his debut with the Drum Line was Ben Verrill who kept a watchful eye on all of the drummers making sdre of a quick recovery if a drumstick was dropped. Banner holders were Jessica Estes and Ashley Williams.

In the Amissville parade, the two newest additions to the drum line had their debut. Samantha Brown and Anthony Clinedinst played bass drums along with Brian
