Director
Sharon Saari, a former resident of Rappahannock and Fauquier Counties for more th'an 20 years, was named Executive Director of the Piedmont United Way in Culpeper effective July 1.
Ms. Saari has replaced Betty Roberts, who has headed this regional organization for 14 years and will be retiring this summer.
Ms. Roberts led the Piedmont United Way campaign from a goal of $190,000 in 1992 to the successful campaign that raised $630,000 for local charitable agencies last year.
Ms. Saari comes to Piedmont United Way from her three-year term with the Monticello Area Community Action Agency in Charlottesville as their Development Director. She
