A small birthday party was given on July 8 for Mrs. Gladys Dodson. Attending were Barbara Settle of Amissville, Helen Edwards of Calverton and friends, Jennifer and Angel and Mrs. Joan Reid of Amissville, granddaughter, Sherry Corbin of Amissville, greatgranddaughter, April Reid and great-grandson, Gerry Corbin Jr.
Barbara Settle visited Florine Smith and Anna Mae Bragg at Culpeper Health Care Center on Saturday.
Viewtown residents are reminded that the Forest Grove Baptist Church has services each Sunday morning with Sunday School at 10 a.m. followed by morning worship at 11. All are welcome.
The Youth Alive group that normally meets in Viewtown will sponsor a “Sports Day” on Saturday, July 13 from 3 to 10 p.m. at the Willoughbys in Quail Ridge. Live music will be provided by the 24/7 Band.
There will be baseball, volleyball, swimming, frisbee and lots of fun activities for children of all ages.
