Jonathan Achilles killed this rattler recently in his flower garden in Riley Hollow just outside of Flint Hill. The snake measured 48 inches long and sported seven rattlers and a button. As always, snakes seem to be plentiful this year and residents with small children are encouraged to be especially careful.
