Rappahannock County has so far avoided the indignity of development for a few reasons, one of which is the fact that it is not convenient to live here. We citizens must travel to a surrounding county for grocery shopping, health care and many other necessities. When it is no longer inconvenient to live here, more people will move to our county. Many more people!
I lived in Loudoun County 20 years ago when it was a sparsely populated rural area. Look at Loudoun County now, it has crime, congestion subdivisions, a frantic pace of life and all the other attributes that we county residents do
