The utility work is expected to be completed by the end of July, and the installation of the kit and completion of the project should occur before the start of the school year. Ms. Crocker said that volunteers are being sought to help on the greenhouse kit installation.
Ms. Crocker also reported on Headwaters activities. She said that planning has started for the Taste Of Rappahannock fund raiser on Sept. 14. and that work is underway on an international event as a second major fund raiser. She noted that the number of Starfish mentors had doubled to IS. and that the program had received a grant award from the United Way.
She also reported that the Composite Index Study, funded by Headwaters with $3,000 County support, was underfunded by $500. and the Board agreed to provide that money. She said that preliminary results had been published, and that a final study report
