The spring concert provided a wonderful evening of music highlighted by senior band students playing duets and solo parts. Lea Pyne provided a fantastic introduction to each selection and the crowd responded with several standing ovations! The drum line opened the event with several drum cadences that delighted everyone in attendance!

All the band members gave an excellent performance. If you weren’t there, you truly missed out on an awesome evening

Senior band scholarship awards

The Rappahannock County Band Boosters proudly announces the 2002 scholarship awards. Congratulations to the following seniors: Wendy Gillis, Holly Long, Lea Pyne and Jenny Starr.

Also congratulations to Brian Lee who was awarded the United States Marine Corps “Semper Fidelis”Award for Musical Excellence. This award is given by the Marine Corps, with recommendation from the band director, to recognize a student for their “diligence, dedication, and musical excellence as a Performing High School Bandsmen and Soloist.”
