Nasty weekend weather wrecked havoc on Brenda Lindsey'S property located at 473 Richmond .{Road in Castleton. Their 230-year-old mulberry ; tree was no match for gale force winds that leveled the majestic tree that was covered with English Ivy. '||f The windstorm that blew through Rappahannock County destroyed the tree on Sunday, April 3, taking with it two classic cars that were on the property. With the ground so heavily saturated, the | tree was uprooted. Lindsey said that she, was sura : the two cars -were a total loss. Ij| The tree lost a part of its historical value five years ago due to a lightening strike, which destroyed the house roof * fence and the well house.
