Ben Venue

is open

Saturday

Saturday’s Old Dominion Hounds Pointto-Point races will give racegoers a chance to see some of the best U.S. timber ‘chasers when they take to the course in the featured Leeds Don open timber. The three-mile headliner runs as the day’s last race.

Also over timber are events for ladies and owner-riders.

Rounding out the card are a trio of hurdle races, a novice rider flat and a card-opening junior field masters chase.

Entries were not complete at press time, but preliminary reports pointed towards overfilled races in all categories.

Ben Venue is located in Rappahannock County, 16 miles west of Warrenton, just off of Route 211.

Parking spaces are still available in the railside areas and general admission tickets can be purchased the day of the races. Call (540) 364-1843 for more information. Full entries can be viewed online at www.morvenpark.org/ceo.
