The Student Council Association raised money to buy clothes and food to send to an orphanage in Uganda. They learned about it from Lynnell Prudhum, a RCHS graduate who works in the embassy there.
Ttiis Sunday seventh grader Katrina Smoot will travel to Hermitage High School in Richmond to represent Rappahannock County Elementary School in the state spelling bee. She won first place in a spelling bee held in the school in February. Representatives from each classroom, from fourth through seventh grades, competed in the school bee.
