RCES Classroom Addition The first option is to eliminate the construction of the auxiliary gym which would come to a total deletion of $1,445,900 in costs. The total funds available for construction would then come to $3,656,244. The second option is to eliminate the construction of the high school track and the additional classrooms at the elementary school. It is estimated that this process will cut costs by $1,480,000 bringing the total funds available for the overall construction project to $3,612,144. Board members reviewed the pros and cons to each option at length, attempting to find alternative solutions to the problem.
