Rappahannock’s Rebecca Tupper sealed the win in the pitcher’s circle, striking eight batters out, walking one and gave up six hits.
“Excellent defensive effort from the whole team was a major part of this win,” said Rapp Panther coach, Richie Burke, “I was pleased with the team effort and hustle displayed by them.”
Rapp’s Jami Jacobs lead the hitting with two on-base hits with singles from Tupper, Johns and Megan Payne.
