wc icit me umc waa iigui wj piuviue local dealers a signature event to showcase their impressive array of vehicles and services, improve brand awareness, provide product sampling and increase their visibility in the Washington metropolitan area.

With the Northern Virginia Auto Show, our overall goal was to feature experienced automotive merchants who are passionate about their industry and take tremendous pride in their contributions to the community, and I believe we have accomplished that.

Transportation in any form—private, shared, public—has always been an essential component in our everyday lives. Throughout the years, our choices and means of transportation have been driven variously by affordability, stature, practicality, recreation and relaxation. I am sure that you will find a variety of options available at this show to address your needs and desires.

Also in keeping with our mission, we are thrilled that the 2005 Northern Virginia Auto Show Charity Recipient is Youth For Tomorrow, a nonprofit organization that operates a residential group village for at-risk teenage boys and girls in Bristow, Va. Having followed Youth For Tomorrow’s tremendously successful programs and observed their valuable contribution to the community, it seemed only appropriate to have Dr. Jones and his exceptional staff on board with us for this exciting kickoff event. As the Presenting Sponsor of this activity, it will allow Times Community Newspapers the ability to provide heightened awareness as well as a financial contribution to a designated charitable organization with each annual event.

In addition, we are pleased to present the Road Ready Teens program from DaimlerChrysler, along with information from other organizations that offer guidance and instruction to young drivers as they prepare to travel onto the open highways.

With a combined circulation of 275,000 and a total readership over 1 million—based on 18 newspapers located in Loudoun, Fairfax, Prince William, Fauquier, Clarke and Rappahannock counties—and more than 200 years of newspaper history as the dominant print and online news organization serving Northern Virginia, we are delighted to present this new program to the community.

Enjoy the Show,
