Following protracted negotiations
with Baltimore Orioles majority owner Peter Angelos, we are pleased to report that all sporting events in the known Universe will now be broadcast on the new “If There’s A Score Kept, It’s Mine” network of the excessively litigious and epically self-regarding investor. This will include, perforce, the Twenty-seventh Annual Fodderstack 10-K Race, which will run from the Vierling’s Packing Shed in Flint Hill to Washington.
We expect that this will be a new dawn for the annual 10K in Rappahannock, offering us the ever sought, but elusive opportunity for “branding” significant features of the race, for “synergies” in marketing, and for, quite frankly, simply wallowing in cash.
To those ends, we are interested in selling the Preregistration Ceremony to an appropriate vendor for advertising purposes. The Department of Motor Vehicles has reviewed satellite imagery of the lines of the race registrants who waited too long to mail in their fees, and they feel that it would be perfect advertising for them.
