If you didn’t make it to this year’s 4-H Share the Fun Talent Show on March 20th, you missed seeing Rappahannock youth shine as they performed 8 very different acts ranging from singing to karate to poetry reading to story telling. Thanks to Evelyn Oyster, this year’s performance was a huge success. Evelyn has been coordinating this 4-Hprogram for more than 10 years and gives the direction and energy that the show needs to be the success that is has become. Along with Evelyn were many other volunteers that helped the talent show run smoothly.
Jesse Palmer and Laura Wheatley hosted the event and did a wonderful job of entertaining the audience while stage changes were made. Corey Hitt and Aaron Oyster controlled the lighting during the show, which sec the tone for each act. Andrew Oyster was the stage coordinator and helped set up props, microphones and managed the curtain. Megan Wheatley controlled the music for the various acts, and Michael Besecker video taped the entire performance. Ruth Oyster and Margo Hawkins were the judges and provided the performers with good feedback and awarded each person
