Area residents are reminded to be cautious leaving and entering driveways, using proper crossovers, etc; in other words, change habits acquired during the road construction period. The speed limit on this section of highway will remain 45 mph, for some work remains to be done and construction will continue in the area.

Airman Wade T. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. George R. Hagerty of Sperryville, has been assigned to Kelly Air Force Base, Texas, following graduation from the U. S. Air Force communications course at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls. The airman is a 1979 graduate of Rappahannock County High School.

A house owned by George Harrington in Harris Hollow was broken into and burgled last Friday. According to Sheriff John Henry Woodward of the Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office, the burglars ripped the electric meter box off the house and cut the phone lines. Missing from the house are a Seth Thomas wall clock, 23 bottles of wine, a slide projector, various tools and audio tapes. All told, the items were valued around $1,000. Sheriff Woodward said that the meter box was probably removed to turn off any alarm system which may have'been in place. He said, however, that most
