leadership in resolving the access issue with the handicap ramp, the Elections Board would’ve had no choice but to require us all to travel to Flint Hill to vote this year. Also, the equipment that your tax dollars and mine pay for was left unserviced and basically unattended to the point that the oil hadn’t been changed for sever• al thousands of miles over when it should have and the tires on some trucks were bald!

Again these issues and others were not attended to and handled, as they should have but, left for Kevin to try to resolve and fix at the end of the year. I don’t know about you folks but the fact that no one felt the need to have the oil in a $100,000 and some fire truck that my hard earned tax dollars and yours went to pay for definitely got my attention!

The treasurer’s books were in horrible disarray when Samantha took them on. It seems that no one felt the need to follow up on them even though the former treasurer had told those above her she was not able to handle the books properly with all of the of issues she had going on. Again the responsibility to sort this out as well as 'the handicap ramp, the equipment repairs and that fact that membership levels are were very low were all left for Kevin to handle. Folks if this doesn’t seem just a little more than wrong to you like it does to me then, well you’re a better Christian than me.

What all of this is getting at folks is this, we all need to call Kevin and try to get this young man to stay on as Fire Chief and show our support for him and our local fire department. I can you tell folks that I was there at the meeting when the elections were held and no one else cared to step forward to lead the department but Kevin.
