The Rappahannock County High School Panthers edged past Page County on April 1 for the 4-2 win, upping it’s season record to 3-1.
It was a slow start for both teams with the game remaining scoreless until the Page County Panthers got it’s bats swinging in the top of the third, pulling in two runs on walks and an error.
That spurred Rapp into action as Jason Jenkins nailed a double, allowing a run to score. Ben Hahn followed, scoring Jenkins with a single.
