an architect with the U.S. Department of Justice, came to Rappahannock County 13 years ago. His interest in theatre began in his native Louisiana where he worked as an architect and volunteered to do stage sets for his community little theatre. Before long he was acting and singing as well in a number of popular plays and musicals, including “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” “A Christmas Carol,” “The Wizard of Oz,” and “Hot! Baltimore.”
Playing the role of Natalya Stepanovna Chubukova, the neighboring landlord’s unmarried daughter who with her father’s frustrated shove finally receives the “proposal,” is Pat Hamilton. Hamilton is Ki Theatre’s first executive director and has lived in Rappahannock for several years. Hamilton has been a long time supporter of Ki programs and has acted in a number of plays, including “The Shepherds’ Play.” Professionally, she is a speech therapist and was a school principal and later a government contractor specializing in education with the federal government. Hamilton also conducts education evaluations for the Rappahannock County Public Schools.
