On Sunday, March 20, a large group of Rappahannock County teenagers gathered at the Washington Baptist Church.
They belonged to different churches and schools scattered across the county, but they came for one unifying reason — to pledge themselves to a lifetime of purity including sexual abstinence until marriage. Thanks to the efforts of several volunteers, they were presented with activities which will allow them to do so.
Nurse practitioner Anne Miller spoke to the youth about the types of sexually transmitted diseases that she sees most frequently in her patients. However, she did not just offer medical reasons for staying pure. Mrs. Miller discussed how remaining pure allows teenagers' to focus on their everyday responsibilities,
