Coach Gibbs' dream was to create a place where young people who had taken a wrong turn in life would have a chance to make a fresh start. Today, this dream is alive at Youth For Tomorrow, which provides a loving family atmosphere, special academic attention, and counseling for the residents and their families. The cross-fertilization of these program components has produced a record in which 85% of those that graduate from YFT's program do not return tp.the negative behaviors that brought them to the program. YFT has served more than 700 young people since opening their doors in 1986. Residential YFT residents live in a family atmosphere with houseparents who consult daily with teachers, counselors, and other staff to ensure that each resident's needs are addressed in a coordinated manner.
