By Carol Lucking Special to the Rappahannock News Linda and Bill Dietel played host for the Starfish Mentoring Spring picnic that was held this past Sunday. Participants enjoyed their time at “Over Jordan Farm” in Flint Hill and feasted on a full table of picnic fare between croquet matches and badminton. All of this was before attending a two-hour photography workshop with professional photographer Paula Endo, a Rappahannock weekender from Alexandria. The mentor pairs enjoyed an afternoon of learning about digital cameras, acquired tips on how to take a quality photograph, and enjoyed using the various printers so they could take home a piece of their work.
