Trinity Episcopal Church welcomes Reverend Hoddinott

During the sabbatical of The Reverend Jennings W. Hobson, III, Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, two priests were called to serve as celebrants. The Reverend Nigel Mollink of Johannesburg, South Africa, departed on June 20 having served since April 23. He shared the services on Sunday, June 18, with The Reverend Rosalie Hoddinott, who recently arrived from New Zealand. Reverend Hoddinott will be the celebrant at Trinity through mid-August. All are cordially welcome to attend Sunday Services at Trinity Episcopal Church, 379 Gay Street, Washington, Virginia at 8 a.m. (Holy Eucharist), 9 a.m , and 10 a.m. Please call the church office, (540) 675-3716, for more information.

Revival services

Shiloh Baptist Church in Woodville will have revival services from Wednesday, June 21 through Friday, June 23. Devotions will start at 7:30 p.m. followed by a worship service starting at 8 p.m. On Wednesday, will be Rev. Maurice Evans from Elk Run Baptist Church, Thursday night will be Rev. Butler from Good Hope, Norman and on Friday night will be Rev. Robert Strothers from the Thessalonian Baptist Church. Pastor Rev. Michael E. Tinsley welcomes everyone.

Hopewell Baptist Church

The Hopewell Baptist Church family in Sperryville invites you to a day of fun, food and friendship-Fiesta Style on Saturday, June 24 at noon, on the church lawn. Featuring prizes and fun games suitable for all ages, including senior citizens. Everyone is welcome.

Fund Drive

The Promise Land Baptist Church will have their annual fund drive for the Odd Fellow Cemetery program on Sunday, June 25 at 3 p.m. The Rev. Michael Tinsley Shiloh Baptist Choir and members of Woodville will be the guests for the afternoon service. Lunch will be served at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Herbert Johnson and the Odd Fellow Cemetery committee welcome all.
