remote controlled robot to show the young students. The Robot is used to defuse explosive devices when not visiting preschools. The children were treated to a demonstration of the robot’s abilities, watching as the robot carefully lifted a chair and moved it to the sidewalk The next day, CLCC students visited Cool Lawn, a large working dairy farm in Remington, Virgina. The children got to see milking machines in action, and met a lot of cows. In just the month of May the students at CLCC learned about robotics, animal husbandry, literature, ornithology, and cafeteria food. Hopefully, kindergarten is ready for them.
