Belated birthday wishes go out to Nina Shepardson, our clerk at the Washington post office. Shepardson celebrated her day on Sunday, June 18.
All are encouraged to come out to the Washington Fire and Rescue Hall on Wednesday, June 28 between 3-7 p.m. for the American Red Cross Bloodmobile. All the donors will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a Jeep Liberty (winner ttkbe chosen in October). Remember new donors are always welcome and encouraged to come out and donate.
The community is saddened to hear that a dear friend, Lois Manookian from Tiger Valley has moved out west to Portland, Oregon. She will not be forgotten by all who knew her, for all the hard work she did for this community. Undoubtedly she’ll catch up with Marvin Bennett and Roger Klinger who moved to Orting, Washington a few months ago. We all wish you well Lois!.
