Gardener at Borders
j Saturday, June 24,2006 at 2 p.m. Master Gardener B. J. ‘Murray will be at Borders Warrenton to discuss general gardening, special gardening appropriate to our locale, recommend gardening books, tools, plants, mulch, and many other issues pertinent to our community, such as shade plants. She will also have a question and answer session after the presentation. She grew up on a farm, has been a gardener all her life and is wonderfully knowledgeable.
Ms. Murray took the Virginia Cooperative Extension ^Master Gardener Training Course in 2003 and has been an ‘ active volunteer in the Fauquier Master Gardener Program. ' VCE-MG volunteer educators are trained community leaders working with residents to increase knowledge and understanding of environmentally sound horticulture and offer ’research-based information from Virginia's Land Grant ’ Colleges to the citizens of Virginia.
