Physiology Class
learns CPR

Although the school year is over, it’s never the wrong time to consider the learning opportunities of the future. Students at Rappahannock County High School thinking about next year’s classes may not be content with Trigonometry. Among all the abstract concepts learned in school, some students want to learn something practical and, in the case of this class, something that could save a life. Most people don’t have to think about the Pythagorean theorem every day, but everyone has someone they wouldn’t want to see hurt. The Anatomy and Physiology class at Rappahannock County High School addresses this need by teaching students Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Some of those students may go on to become sorely needed volunteers in Rappahannock’s rescue squads, and some of them may luckily never need their CPR Training.
