UbPA is the only skydiving organization in the United States and in great demand for performances across the nation.
“It is a great honor to have the USPA perform at Great Meadow,” said Great Meadow Executive Director, Leslie VanSant. The USPA, with 33,000 members celebrate their 60th birthday next month. Jumps planned for the 4th incor_porate the celebration of two birthdays, our nation’s and the -USPA, and will involve delayed free falls with canopies open;>ing at 3,000 feet. Planned formations include a star, dia, monds, stair steps, zippers and even a doughnut, which with the addition of smoke flags, render a powerful performance as .'the jumpers spiral down for spot landings in front of the 5 crowd. The jumpers will leap from an Australian-made PAC750 airplane. “Holding up to 16 skydivers, the PAC allows for j plenty of people to be in the air at once,” said Chris Needles > USPA Executive Director.
