Williams also spoke about increasing communications with the “weekender” population in the county. Williams said that currently many homeowners have gates to their driveways and security alarms. Often times, Williams added, homeowners have left a set of keys at the house and given them the alarm security codes in case an alarm is set off
“We do everything we can to maintain the security of their property,” Williams said, noting there lometimes it can be difficult to contact homeowndrs. “Unfortunately, a lot of weekenders don’t have their phone numbers listed and don’t leave us with a way of contacting them.”
