The board typically votes to submit the proposal to the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors in March.
Chappell said a copy of the proposed budget will be available to the public after 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the school board office. The formal public hearing on the school budget is set for 7:30 p.m. on March 20 in the high school auditorium.
