Recent training
Williams received additional leadership training last summer from the National Criminal Justice Command College (NCJCC) in Richmond.
The classes lasted for 10 weeks and offered modem training in public and private policing, and included a training curriculum focusing on leadership, management issues, collaboration and negotiation. It also increased his knowledge of recent law enforcement legal issues.
Williams said that the training he received from the Command College helped him enormously in his abilities in the RCSO, and that he would like to send other leaders of the Sheriffs office to the same school. “I think that department training should be con
