Rappahannock News Staff Writer

The Rappahannock Varsity wrestling team sought out some of the toughest competition in the state last weekend during the 2007 Free Lance Star Super 24 Invitational, held at Riverbend High School in Fredricksburg Virginia.

“The level of competition was higher than anything that we have experienced before,” said Assistant Coach Hodge Miller about the weekend.

All the high schools that competed in the tournament, save two, were single A and double A schools. Rappahannock finished 25th in a ranking of the 30 schools that competed.
