For the first time this season, Rappahannock County’s varsity boys basketball team has put together a win streak. And with the Bull Run District tournament starting Friday, that momentum is coming at the perfect time.
The Panthers posted the victories on back-to-back nights to finish the regular season with a 5-17 overall record and a 3-7 mark in the district.
On Monday, Rappahannock dominated intra-county opponent Wakefield Country Day, beating them 87-36 at RCHS. The Panthers traveled to district rival Manassas Park on Tuesday and took down the Cougars 61-55.
