Telecomm tax repealed
The third and final item on the board’s agenda was the county’s telecommunications tax, which the supervisors voted to repeal.
The tax has been superseded by a state tax that will return funding to localities after the state government takes its portion of the tax revenue, County Administrator John McCarthy said.
