older, will be held every Friday, beginning on February 23, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the Jamieson Room of the Rappahannock Library. They will continue through March. These are in preparation for the Rappahannock Repertory Company’s Shakespearean extravaganza in June. Young actors will learn the history, stories, and language of Elizabethan times in a comfortable atmosphere, some of which will be through games. But they will also learn the discipline necessary to perform professionally. Some of the characters they vyill portray in “Ageless Dreams: A Shakespearean Panorama” will include Portia, Hamlet, Titania and Oberon. The Company will also need an enchanted forest filled with fairies, elves, and forest folk. Classes for younger actors, four to nine will begin in April. All are invited to join in creating rhythm and music on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 5:30-6 p.m. at Sage in the Rappahannock Wellness Center. Group drumming has been proven to reduce stress and can help stimulate coordination, cooperation, and greater listening skills. All ages welcome. No experience necessary.
