Charles Williams, Sr. put tile on the basement floor. Rev. Carroll died in 1961.
The comer stone was laid by the Odd Fellows Culpeper, VA in 1962 with the Reverend U. S. Brokenburr as acting pastor. Reverend Brokenburr was installed as the sixth pastor in May, 1964. He was the first pastor to be installed. Under his leadership many improvements were made: a new pulpit set, inside lavatories, carpet installed, purchased new pews, new windows installed, and a xerox machine purchased. Rev. Brokenburr died in September 1992.
Former treasurers included: Gaylord Butler, David Brown, and Russell (Sam) Aylor. Charlotte Aylor Johnson is the present treasurer.
History keepers
One hundred and thirtythree years of history has been kept by the Lewis family. Charlie C. Lewis, Sr. was the first clerk (1873-1933) serving sixty years. At his death, his son, Charlie C. Lewis, Jr. succeeded him (1933-1983) serving fifty years. His daughter, Reverend Anna Lewis Allsberry,
