Brandon Feagan didn’t have to look far to draw inspiration for claiming the masters division crown.
His aspiration to win came from a man sitting in a lawn chair along the Soap Box Derby of Culpeper’s 310foot Blue Ridge Avenue course - his father Charlie.
On June 6, Charlie Feagan underwent openheart bypass surgery to fix his ailing heart, He was released from the hospital several days later, but is still re-cooperating from his ordeal.
