Auction Committee Chair Denise Chandler and her committee have been collaborating on one-of-a-kind prizes and experiences. Steven Kenny, one of Rappahannock’s most noted fine artists, will donate an original work of art painted especially for the auction. A five-day vacation package, “Splendors of Travel," should also receive active bidding during the live auction, as will a “Luscious Landscape Package," which includes trees, flowers, a fountain, and design services. A traditionally favorite “Dinner with...Evening," which always brings competitive bidding, will also return.
The newly-added, silent auction offers the opportunity for guests to bid on other creative items such as a spa package, original artwork, and many more tempting prizes to be bid on throughout the evening.
Invitations for The Taste of Rappahannock will be mailed from the Headwaters mailing list the first week in August. This event traditionally sells out quickly and tickets may be reserved ahead of time.
