The Rappahannock League
for Environmental Protection, Concerned Culpeper Citizens and directly affected landowners in four local counties have come together in a grass-roots effort to oppose Dominion Resources’ proposed new electric transmission line that would pass through Rappahannock County. If Dominion’s request for a new 500,000-volt power line and their proposed route are approved by the Virginia State Corporation Commission, hundreds of landowners in Rappahannock, Culpeper, Fauquier and Prince William counties will be seriously, permanently, adversely impacted.
