Rappahannock Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Robert Chappell said he appreciated Mello’s five years of service, noting that he touched
the lives of many students. “The School Board and I are very disappointed that we won’t have Roger on the RCHS leadership team as we move forward,” he said, “we wish him success in starting the new school in Culpeper.”
With Mello’s acceptance of the principal position in Culpeper, he wifi not be taking on die position of assistant football coach in Rappahannock. Mello said, however, that he would offer assistance to the coaching staff
