Obituaries
John, of Rixeyville. He is also survived by his identical twin brother, Joseph L. Rutherford, and his wife, Marsha, of Culpeper, and four other brothers, Bobby J. Rutherford and his wife, Nellie, Jackie T. Rutherford and his wife, Wanda, Donald D. Rutherford and his wife, Nancy, all of Rixeyville, and Roger Lee Rutherford of Springfield, VA.
Additional survivors include two sisters, Rebecca Starner of Woodbridge, VA, and Betty Bruce and her husband, Billy, of Luray, VA, two grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his former wife, Karen Rutherford.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 26, in the Found and Sons Chapel with the Rev. Steve Dodson officiating. Interment was followed at the Amissville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
