Senior Prevention Program Specialist

Provide community and school-based prevention services to at-risk youth and their families, supervision of After School Program step, program evaluation, and grant writing/grant management Provide collaboration with Loudoun County Public Schools, other agencies and coalitions to ensure community prevention programming addresses high risk behaviors and promotes development of protective factors. Knowledgeable in research-based substance abuse and violence prevention programs; strong organizational and leadership skills. Experience in working with at-risk youth, co-leading groups; experience in public speaking, wntkig and managing grants; experience in program evaluation, using statistical software; demonstrate ability to function effectively in an interagency and collaborative capacity. Work schedule may include some evening hours. Requires some work in a recreational setting. Bachelors degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field and three years directly related experience. Five years experience, Master's degree and eligibility for Certified Prevention Professional preferred. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish highly desirable.
