two days a week. The sloppy-joe's, chili and spaghetti are now made with turkey burger instead of hamburger.

What happened to offering a salad bar, a baked potato bar, the homemade desserts and breads that we used have?

Putting food in a warmer, for example; mashed potato mix with hot water is not making mashed potatoes.

Breakfast used to be homemade and not pre-cooked frozen items. We used to get sausage gravy and white biscuits, now we get brown biscuits. When I would bring the boys to school in the mornings, I would buy the biscuits and gravy for myself. They were that good! They never have pancakes anymore or real bacon and sausage. Yes, it may be healthier but the students are not buying it because it does not taste good.

We need to look at the school menus and put foods together that belong together and try serving items students want to eat. They can still be healthy and nutritious.

Maybe we should hire a professional dietitian who knows what the children should be eating and then it can be self
