Homer Fincham
Retired Farmer
James Homer Fincham, 79, of Washington, died on Monday, February 18 at his residence.
A native and lifelong resident of Rappahannock County, Mr. Fincham was bom May 27, 1905, in Gid Brown Hollow, a son of the late John R. and Lucy Monroe Fincham. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Oakley Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Verlie Horton Fincham of Washington; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy F. Clark of Sperryville and Miss Ruth E. Fincham of Washington and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, February 20 at 2 p.m. at the Gid Brown Bible Church by Pastor John K. Burke, Jr. Burial was in the Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Wayne Burke, Clyde M. Pullen, John Clark, Jr., David Pullen, Levi Alther and Bill Pullen.
Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
