The Shenrapawa District of the Shenandoah Area Council, Boy Scouts of America will hold their Winter Camporee on February 23 and 24 in Rappahannock County on a site near Route 211, east of Massie’s Corner. The host Troops are Troop 36 of Flint Hill and Troop 123 of Washington.
The troops will register and set up their campsites during the morning on Saturday. In the afternoon the troops will compete in two events based on Scout Skills. The first contest is a nature hunt where each patrol must identify and return to the starting point 21 preselected items. The second contest is an orienteering event.
