The next morning the girls rode to Luray, stopping along the way to have a “picnic dinner” in the woods. They spent the night in Luray and on the following morning left for Flint Hill.
E.T. wrote “Late that afternoon we reached Flint Hill, first having been heralded by several machine loads of interested scouts.
