calls and letters to the superintendent first. The group also decided to seek more public support by running an advertisement in the paper that can be clipped out and mailed to the superintendent. The advertisement will have the group’s goal on it, which is to make Rappahannock teachers’ salaries equal to the average of surrounding counties’ teacher salaries in 1985-86.
As many people as possible will also be encouraged to attend the School Board budget meetings on Tuesday nights in March, and to attend the Supervisor meeting. The group will meet again before a School Board meeting at 6:45 p.m. in the elementary school library’ on March 12.
